The CT5 People's Forum is a public forum for those who live or work in the CT5 postcode area to improve our town, through encouraging local democracy and community participation.

 

The Forum provides a platform for local people and organisations to exchange information, discuss issues and work together and hold our elected officials to account.

Members receive information on Forum activities, local issues and events
Members can join the subgroups – and suggest new subgroups

Members can help run the Forum by choosing trustees and becoming a trustee

Public Forum meetings provide an opportunity to discuss local issues – with residents, businesses, Councillors, our MP and organisations. The meetings are open to everyone living or working in the CT5 area and take place every couple of months.


The website and social media – information on local issues, campaigns and support.


Forum subgroups focus on specific issues – the environment, traffic and active travel and forming a Town Council. Subgroups are open to members only, but membership is free. New groups form around members interests.
